The Genie® SX™-180 is engineered to push the boundaries of what is possible on a modern worksite. Despite its massive scale, the SX-180 is designed for productivity, featuring a 3.05m rotating jib that allows for millimetre-perfect positioning of the 340kg capacity platform. Utilising the patented Genie X-Chassis™ system, the axles extend and retract to balance world-class stability with the ability to be transported on a standard low-loader trailer, making it the most versatile ultra-high boom in existence.
The Genie SX-180 Telescopic Boom, available from Sleator Plant, is designed to handle the most complex vertical challenges in the UK and beyond. This machine is particularly favoured for applications such as wind turbine maintenance, bridge structural work, and stadium construction, where height is the primary obstacle. A standout feature is its 3.05m rotating jib, which offers 60° of horizontal and 135° of vertical rotation, providing the “reach-around” capability necessary to access difficult work zones at the top of the boom’s envelope.
